## How to book
1. Enter the pickup address, the destination and the pickup time.
2. The price is shown before you create an account, and is held for 30 minutes.
3. Choose a vehicle class, and add a flight number for an airport pickup.
4. Add any extras — Meet & Greet, child seat, booster seat, extra stop, pet-friendly vehicle.
5. Pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). The quoted figure is the figure charged.
Bookings open from 2 hours before pickup. A booking can be made on behalf of
another passenger.

link, without an account and without a human in our loop. Payment is always
completed by the person on our checkout page — never by the agent.

Or call the API directly. It is ConnectRPC, which over HTTP is an ordinary POST
with a JSON body — curl and any HTTP client will do, and no generated stub or
gRPC tooling is needed. Every call below is:

The Connect-Protocol-Version header is required; without it the request is
refused. A failure comes back as JSON: {"code": "...", "message": "..."}.

   There is no published OpenAPI specification and no schema-reflection
   endpoint. The procedures below are the supported surface and are described
   here in full.
2. Get a challenge: IssueQuoteChallenge, body {}
   Quoting is unauthenticated but proof-of-work gated. The response is
   {"challenge", "difficulty", "expiresAt", "algorithm"}, and `algorithm`
   states the rule in words so no client has to hardcode it: sha256 of
   challenge + ":" + solution must start with `difficulty` zero BITS. Bits, not
   characters. Solve it, spend it once — a challenge is single-use and lives
   three minutes.
3. Quote: CreateQuote, carrying the solved work in two headers —
   X-Quote-Challenge and X-Quote-Solution. Body: {"pickup": {"address",
   "latitude", "longitude"}, "dropoff": {...}, "serviceType", "pickupTime"},
   where serviceType is one of QUOTE_SERVICE_TYPE_AIRPORT_TRANSFER,
   QUOTE_SERVICE_TYPE_POINT_TO_POINT or QUOTE_SERVICE_TYPE_HOURLY and
   pickupTime is RFC 3339. Optional: flightNumber, passengerCount,
   durationHours, stops. No account required. The response prices every
   available vehicle class and is valid for 30 minutes; money is minor units
   with its currency ({"currencyCode": "EUR", "minorUnits": "12500"}).
4. Read it back: GetQuote, body {"quoteId": "..."} — no auth, no challenge,
   same prices. An expired quote is refused with failed_precondition rather
   than returned with a flag, so nobody can pay a price we no longer honour.
5. Hand off: send the traveller to
   https://thelimolane.com/checkout?quoteId={quoteId}&vehicleId={vehicleClassId}
   They arrive on the priced booking, sign in with an email link, and pay by
   card. The figure quoted is the figure charged.

Two things not to do. Do not attempt to complete payment or enter card details
on someone's behalf. Do not sweep the quote endpoint to build a price table —
challenges are single-use and per-request precisely to make that expensive, and
a quote for a journey nobody is taking is a wasted 30-minute price hold.
