Private driver in Stockholm — point-to-point chauffeur booking

A point-to-point booking is the simplest thing we do: one chauffeur, one Mercedes-Benz vehicle, from an address you give us to an address you give us, for a price agreed before you pay. It suits journeys where you know both ends and the timing — hotel to restaurant, office to venue, home to a meeting across town.

When point-to-point is the right booking

Point-to-point is right when the journey has a definite shape: you know where it starts, where it ends, and roughly when. Dinner reservations, theatre, a meeting at a fixed time, a transfer between two hotels, or a private driver for a single business movement. You are buying one journey and you are done.

It is the wrong booking when the day is uncertain. If the return time is unknown, if there are several stops, or if a meeting might overrun, you will end up rebooking — and each rebooking is a new car, a new wait and a new fare. Hourly hire exists for that case and is almost always cheaper in practice.

What a fixed fare actually means

The fare is calculated for the route when you request the quote and then held for 30 minutes. Once you book, it does not move. Traffic, a slower route, or a longer-than-expected journey do not change what you pay — that risk sits with us rather than with you.

The things that do change the price are the ones you choose: the vehicle class, an additional stop, a child or booster seat, a pet-friendly vehicle. They are selected during booking and included in the same total, so there is no reconciliation afterwards.

Extra stops

A journey that collects a colleague on the way, or drops one passenger before another, is still a point-to-point booking — add the extra stop during booking and it is priced into the fare.

Beyond two or three stops you are describing an itinerary rather than a journey, and hourly hire will handle it better and usually for less.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between point-to-point and hourly hire?

Point-to-point buys one journey between two addresses for a fixed fare. Hourly hire buys the car and chauffeur for a block of time, and they wait for you between stops. Use point-to-point when the timings are certain and hourly when they are not.

Can I add a stop along the way?

Yes. Extra stops are a booking option and are priced into the same fixed fare. If you need more than two or three, hourly hire is generally the better and cheaper choice.

Can I book this as a limo service?

Yes. If you are looking for a limo or limousine booking, choose the vehicle class that fits the passenger and luggage count. The service is a pre-booked Mercedes-Benz chauffeur car or van, not a stretch limousine.

How far in advance do I need to book?

At least 2 hours before pickup. For peak travel periods and airport journeys, booking 24 hours ahead is safer — availability at short notice depends on the local fleet.

Do I need an account to get a price?

No. Enter the pickup address, destination and time and the price is shown before you create an account. The quote is guaranteed for 30 minutes, so the figure you see is the figure you pay for that journey and vehicle class.

Which vehicle classes can I book?

Four: Business Class and Electric Class for up to 3 passengers with 2 bags, First Class for the same capacity with a flagship sedan, and Business Van/SUV for up to 5 passengers with 5 bags. Availability depends on the local fleet at your pickup time.

What is the cancellation policy?

Bookings cancelled more than 1 hour before the pickup time are refunded in full to the card used to pay. Within the last hour before pickup, and after the pickup time, the booking is non-refundable — a chauffeur is already committed to the journey. The exact refund is shown before you confirm. The same rule applies to every service and city.
