Stockholm is an easy business city with one recurring trap: the districts are spread across islands, and a meeting schedule built on map distance rather than travel time falls apart by mid-afternoon. Knowing where the clusters are, and how long the links between them actually take, is most of the planning.

Where the business districts are
The central business district sits in Norrmalm around the main station — banks, professional services, and most of the hotels a visitor will be booked into. Kista, roughly 15 km north-west, is the technology cluster and is closer to Arlanda than to the city centre, which is useful to know when scheduling a flight on the same day. Solna and Hagastaden, just north of the centre, hold life sciences and a number of corporate headquarters.
The practical consequence: a morning in Kista and an afternoon in the city is a sensible day. Alternating between them is not.
Booking for a day of meetings
A day with fixed start and end but uncertain middle is exactly what hourly hire is for. The car waits between meetings, an overrunning session costs time rather than a booking, and one chauffeur learns the shape of the day instead of each leg starting from scratch.
